The showcase displays numerous insects and invertebrates who show similar societal, mental, or physical characteristics of humans. The humorous nature of the banners would invite younger patrons in, while the heavy focus on biology and human nature would intrigue college students and adults. An emphasis on script fonts and playful text placements would emphasise that the experience is kid friendly, as Carnegie has a large amount of patronage from school field trips and parent outings.
Carnegie tends to favor physical media over digital, so all designs are large scale as to print nicely. Banners and brochures would be in full color, while the Exhibit-pass would be single color on colored cardstock. Day-Passes and Exhibit-Passes are usually themed to the museum itself, however the exhibit passes are themed accordingly.
